Rahman,
It took me 2 years to become 3rd Kyu, so you are not behind in any way. I have been training for 8 years now and I am finally ready to take my 3rd Dan test. Hopefully I will pass, but even if I do not, I will keep training hard. What am I practicing for waza? Men! : ) Just the basics as Imafuji sensei has mentioned.
Just keep training as your sensei instructs. They want you to succeed and will give you the instruction to best help you succeed. You need to trust them.
